AFRICOM, the 4-G Upgrade.

In May 2009, President Muammar Gadaffi met with General William “Kip” Ward, former commander of the USAFRICOM to express his support of the “new America”. Ironically, 2009 was also the same year that Gadaffi decided to nationalize more oil fields than previously under state control in the past.

Admittedly, despite his socialist rhetoric Gadaffi remains a complex neocolonial political force that has made many selfish, opportunist and controversial moves while all the time retaining his position as ruler of Libya. Perhaps his over confidence as state ruler for life led him to make the miscalculations made in relationship to US military presence in Africa. Or could he really have sipped on the same kool aid that suggests Obama’s America is somehow a different flavor from any other presidency in US imperialist history? Whatever the case maybe, Gadaffi’s struggles are the gateway drug for many more foreign military exercises to come in Africa.

Imperial Military in Realtime.

In the midst of the UN resolutions 1970 and 1973 that sanctioned a no fly zone and gave permissions for NATO sponsored air strikes, Gadaffi has woken to a sobering hangover that this “new America” is no different than the old one. The question remains, when will the rest of the African world awake to the upgraded version of militarism of white power in black face? Just hours after President Barack Obama (also fondly known as the white house-negro) announced at the National Defense University his plans to order warships into the Mediterranean for “humanitarian reasons” did the US make a move. On the morning of March 29th, a U.S. Navy P-3C Maritime Patrol aircraft, a U.S. Air Force A-10 Thunderbolt attack aircraft and guided-missile destroyer USS Barry (DDG-52) engaged with the Libyan Coast Guard vessel Vittoria and two smaller crafts in a military altercation. This is the first big military move after 100+ missiles launched on Libya on March 19th. Even as Obama made promises to the television audience that he would not commit any ground troops, the A-10 Thunderbolt that just attacked Libya is well known to be an aircraft specifically designed for ground troop support. Such military moves make the arrival of US troops an inevitable move and war its only mission.

Obama also noted that the military attack of Libya is done in “coalition” efforts led by NATO and endorsed by the Arab league. Forget that the weak opposition of the African Union hasn’t got much press, what’s most ironic is that Obama didn’t even bat an eye as he made the same illegitimate case for war that George Bush did in 2003 at the dawn of the Iraq War. Operation Odyssey Dawn in Libya is looking a lot like Operation Iraqi Freedom. It is also important to note that the US contributes the most military weaponry and manpower to NATO, and so whether it’s the war in Iraq or Afghanistan or Libya, NATO is code word for US military command efforts. In the case of Libya, AFRICOM is already being mentioned with curiosity as militarists at the Pentagon are salivating at the opportunity to give their four-year efforts a test-run.


AFRICOM: the Centerfold of the US Command Plan

The current political climate in North Africa is truly the perfect storm for AFRICOM to flex its muscles and sharpen its mission to “ conduct sustained security engagement through military-to-military program, military-sponsored activities and other military operations” in Africa. Born as the brainchild project of Donald Rumsfeld as he stood on his last political leg during the Fallujah scandal in 2006, former President George Bush brought AFRICOM to public attention in a February 2007 press statement announcing this new and humanitarian version of a military command program. It spent its first year as a concept with a $50 million budget focused on public relations. Four years later, not only does AFRICOM’s have a budget increase of $302 million, but it has its headquarter in Stuggart, Germany, sub-stations at US Embassies throughout Africa and many active programs on the ground. One of its prominent programs is called “Hub” training as part of the African Partnership Station (APS). “Hub” has trained soldiers and police from Djibouti, Kenya, Mauritius, Mozambique and Tanzania by US naval forces. APS focuses on maritime law and concentrates its focus on border nations that allows for US military forces an excuse to remain involved in all strategic trade posts at all times.

AFRICOM, unlike its counterpart in the Middle East and parts of Asia known as CENTCOM, is young and fresh without the historic baggage of dethroning the Shah in the 1950s, fighting Israel’s war for her in the 1960s, getting kicked out of Afghanistan in the 1970s, making a mess in Iran in the 1980s, being exposed as a gluttonous oil-monger in Kuwait in the 1990s and completely going war-crazy with the dual assaults on Iraq and Afghanistan in the first decade of the 21st century. AFRICOM is part and parcel of a neocolonial makeover plan to give imperialism a new strategy with new leadership and new methods of forwarding an age-old imperial agenda to carry a big stick with a flashing smile.

Gadaffi is an easy mark to make a moral argument for “humanitarian intervention” as his own contradictions as an illegitimate political patriarch allow for imperial exploitation. As traumatizing as it is to hear of over 100 missiles dropping on the Libyan people or the Djibouti sub-station (along with the US embassies in Tunisian and Egypt) being used as a launch pad for future military aggression, the worst of military aggression is yet to come.

The Future of US Militarism, AFRICOM in 4-G

Retired AFRICOM commander, Kip Ward, is currently on a speaking tour to continue to assist with the public relations of AFRICOM as he has passed the baton to General Carter F. Ham. Unlike Ward and many other generals, Ham has extensive combat experience to go along with his officer training. In sum, he is a strategist and has been called the “go-to guy” for Defense Secretary Robert Gates. Why the upgrade? It’s simple. The US is going to war on Africa and will execute an aggressive campaign to intervene in the plethora of unstable states in the region. It is safe to say that the training wheels are off and AFRICOM as a military machine is fully operational.

It is estimated the US Defense budget will reach $1 Trillion in 2012 and because AFRICOM’s budget is sure to increase significantly as war necessitates more weapons, infantry support, intelligence operations and administrative staff salaries. The AFRICOM website alludes to a substantial increase in funding and credits this potential inflated budget to a re-shuffling of monies given to the DoD as part of a $150 Billion “reinvestment for efficiency savings”. When the real numbers are announced, jaws are most certain to drop. Yet, any surprised responses on the US stepping up its military aggression on Africa are unfounded. The motivation for sustained military presence in Africa are too many to list, yet, it is important to outline some key places that will be met with greater force in the next few years.

Coastline countries will be of increasing interest for maritime operations. Countries that border places like the Gulf of Guinea (Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Nigeria), the Gulf of Aden (Djibouti, Ethiopia, Somalia) and Africa’s borders on the western Indian Ocean (Kenya, Madagascar, South Africa). Of course Libya, which borders the Mediterranean, is significant and is the christening border location for these increased military strategies. In addition to the oil-resource that border countries offer, they also are strategic trade posts (with the War on Drugs as the perfect excuse to create stations as AFRICOM has already launched the APS training programs). Each of the countries listed as border countries are sure to make headlines in the next coming months as unstable and creating the necessary political climate for more US “humanitarian intervention”. Cote d’Ivoire will soon erupt in a civil war, upcoming Nigerian elections is sure to irritate the militants of the Niger Delta, Somalia remains unstable, Ethiopia-Eritrean border tensions are sure to result in conflict in the region, Kenyan and Ghana drug trade will allow for foreign intervention, oppositional forces in Madagascar will make more aggressive moves against the newly elected government and South Africa’s President Zuma will eat his words for speaking out against the US attack on Libya. Of course, there are also countries of the Great Lakes, with particular focus on the DRC, which are of high interest to the US imperial agenda due to resource wealth. Political instability in the region also gives way to increased military aggression.

All the while, AFRICOM will continue to make headway and state-sovereignty in every African country (both on the coast and in the mainland) will continue to deteriorate. Of course, this story has a potential plot twist with the birth of a new African liberation movement looking to unify and define itself. Obama is living out the main reason he was allowed the seat of presidency of a historically unapologetic white supremacist nation-state project of Manifest Destiny. The dual dose of a reality check that both AFRICOM and Obama offer is filled with the promise to rejuvenate a defeated liberation movement waiting in the periphery to make real revolution for Africa. And for this reason (and many more) luta continua!

Wake Up, God Dammit!

All of this "we're broke" talk coming from the republikkkons, with the complicity of the obamabots, is pure kkkrap. Really.

First, who is "we"? We, as in the workers of amerikkka, in particular workers of color, who find themselves out of a job, out of a home, and out of luck? We, as in the children of those workers? We, as in the workers of Africa, Asia, and the Americas south of the border; and their children, who suffer under conditions worse than those which motivated the U.$. labor movement of a little over 100 years ago in this country?

Or is this 'we' the nation that is amerikkka, whose very existance in the 21st century relies exclusively on maintaining a parasitic, oppressive economic relationship with the 3rd world, which benefits one class more than others within amerikkka, yet all classes see benefit from this systemic exploitation nonetheless.

Now, we see republikkkons across the country from Congress to various State legislatures, and even the U.S. Supreme Court doing all they can to strip amerikkkan workers of our meager crumbs of the spoils of disaster kkkapitalism around the world. We must keep it real: our participation in the kkkapitalist economy is giving aid and comfort to the enemies of the world's exploited majority. You're either part of the solution or part of the problem; you're either an active resister or a willing participant.

The U.$. intervention in Libya is ultimately an armed economic venture; a literal 'hostile takeover'. This too is about oil. Take note how gas prices spiked at the outset of the launch of the first cruise missles at "multiple anti-aircraft batteries". Only a complete asshat actually believes the U.$./NATO/Arab League intervention is a "humanitarian" effort. Each missle dropped on Libya costs well over a million dollars each. Yet, the budget cuts continue at the federal, state, and local level.

I was listening to an economist on Air America who stated that if O-Bomb-yuh completely withdrew from all U.$. theatres of operation, the U.$. unemployment rate would jump to 12%-15% overnight. Why? Because of the dependence of the U.$. economy on the U.$ military industrial complex; which, of course, is dependent on foreign oil; along with everything else in the U.$. Take note that the holes in the ozone layer are much bigger and much more numerous over north amerikkka and europe vs. over Africa and Central and South America, despite some of the lax, often corrupt, and often inconsistant-to-non-existant regulation of pollution in the 3rd world. If global warming is a "myth": why are seven islands (and counting) in the south pacific now completely underwater? And how about those shrinking polar ice caps?

Really, no class is more parasitic than the class represented by folks like the Koch brothers and Bill Gates. Why is it that a teacher who makes $30,000 (u.$.) per year pays 33% or more in income tax, while a kkkoporation like General Electric pays NOTHING in income taxes. A piece in the 3/26/11 New York Times by David Kocieniewski outlines how G.E. skirted paying any taxes on $5.1 billion in profits in 2010--in addition to claiming a $3.2 billion tax credit. The IRS ADMITS this, yet you and I face arrest and property confiscation if we refuse to pay into a system that uses 51% of our taxes for military expenditures. Take note that G.E. was one of many military contractors who were major contributors to O-bomb-yuh's 2008 presidential campaign.

Now, who is Col. Gaddafi, really? In 1969, he led a successful revolution against colonialism. In the 1990's, he was a founding member of the Worldwide Anti-Zionist Front, along side All-African Peoples Revolutionary Party chair the late Kwame Ture (formerly known as Stokely Carmichael).
Gaddafi has also been a stanch supporter of reparations and self-determination for Africans throughout the disapora. It is on this basis that he finds common cause with Minister Louis Farrakhan.

Don't get it twisted, Gaddafi is a 'socialist' in name only and an anti-imperialist only in so far as Libya maintain's its territorial integrity and he maintains good economic relationships with amerikkkan kkkorporations and amerikkkans like Donald Trump. In recent years, his military has joined in joint anti-terror manuvers with the U.$. special forces in Libya. He refered to Barack Obama as his "brother", a day after amerikkkan bombs began raining on down on Tripoli.

Don't interpret genuine anti-imperialism as a license for personality cultism around Gaddafi out of a desperate psychological need for a "socialist hero" in these desperate times. At the same time, do not assume that all the rebels are somehow magically 'progressive' or 'socialist'.

According to the UK telegraph, in an article speaking to the attacks on Black/non-Arab Libyans by Libyan rebel/anti-Gaddafi forces:

"The rebel's interim government is made up of professionals academics, businessmen and lawyers often educated in the UK or US who make all the right noises about democracy, human rights and the rule of law. But they are far removed from the excitable volunteers who man roadblocks through the night, stopping cars they believe may have been stolen or dragging suspected Gaddafi loyalists into the street."

However, especially for serious students of revolutionary struggle, while it may be necessary to speak in terms of broad-brush statements in order to keep the message short and to-the-point, this does not mean that our own investigations and analyses end there, or that how we halt our end of the struggle against imperialism until these investigations are taken to their logical conclusion.

As I pointed out to a friend on facebook, I said: Go look at archived NYT articles about the Russian revolution. In those, they only mention the liberals, specifically Kerensky, and the old Czarist elements like Gen. Deniken. It wasn't until after 1917, that Lenin and Trotsky even got a mention...once they were the heads of state. So far, the press in amerikkka has only mentioned the rebels who are clealry bourgeois and pro-western. Then, as now, the imperialists only highlight their own, unless they have something bad to say about someone else.

The issue for those of us in amerikkka and europe who claim to be about "revolution" is U.$. intervention, and specifically stopping it; especially when the majority of amerikkkans support it at this time, according to recent polls, and less about who amongst the Libyans are at each others throats and why. No amount of bloodshed in Libya at the hands of any Libyan on either side can compare to the longer, more sustained, more numerous wholesale murder, of civilians in particular, that can be expected from U.$ forces in Libya, if Iraq and Afghanistan are any example of things to come.

Indeed, this latest invasion is a sort of a sick reunion. Take note of the lines of a famous U.$. Marine Corps marching song, "from the halls of motezuma, to shores of Tripoli...!" This refers to the U.$. first invasion of Tripoli, in what was to become Libya, back in 1805 when Gen. William Eaton and US Marine First Lieutenant Presley O'Bannon led a mixed force of eight U. S. Marines and 500 Greek, Arab, and Berber mercenaries (does this sound familiar?) on a march across the desert from Alexandria, Egypt to assault and to capture the city of Derna. This was the first time in history that the United States flag was raised on foreign soil, aside from that which was taken from the Indigenous populations of this continent. As much things change, as much they stay the same.

Friends, we alot of work ahead of us. Right off top, we need to demonstrate to the rest of the world the we are not typical "amerikkkans". No, we are in fact citizens of the world. We want to see freedom, justice, and equality in our lifetime for everybody. But we place our emphasis on those who need to see this in their lifetime the most deeply, the most desperately, and the most immediately.

So, Wake Up, God Dammit! The principle contradiction ain't no fiction! If you do not wish to continue to live like a cockroach, get off your knees and 'Walk like an Egyptian'!

Snyder did in Michigan) and to build themselves a private army (as Jan Brewer is doing in Arizona), and all the other bi-partisan (i.e.- republikkon and obamabot/demokkrat) policy moves from coast-to-coast designed to oppress so-called minorities/immigrants/people of color that your act of murderous rage has now justified in the minds of many. Maybe you bear witness that the majority of amerikkkans are fundementally fascistic and willingly support imperialism with all their heart and soul as a consequence of the consumerist lifestyle they lead, which is based upon 3rd world exploitation. Maybe you could careless what they think because of this fact; and so you do what you want, when you want, to whoever you want.

Behavior Modification Using TV/Computer Monitors Described in U.$. Patents.

This was sent to me by a listener, who found this information here. I believe this is worth deeper investigation by you nad yours, especially in light of the scientific use of imagery to sway public opinion and purchasing decisions; also the use of sound as weapon, as is done against angry crowds in Iraq and pirates off the coast of Somalia.

United States Patent 6,506,148 Loos, January 14, 2003 Nervous system manipulation by electromagnetic fields from monitors Abstract Physiological effects have been observed in a human subject in response to stimulation of the skin with weak electromagnetic fields that are pulsed with certain frequencies near 1/2 Hz or 2.4 Hz, such as to excite a sensory resonance. Many computer monitors and TV tubes, when displaying pulsed images, emit pulsed electromagnetic fields of sufficient amplitudes to cause such excitation. It is therefore possible to manipulate the nervous system of a subject by pulsing images displayed on a nearby computer monitor or TV set. For the latter, the image pulsing may be imbedded in the program material, or it may be overlaid by modulating a video stream, either as an RF signal or as a video signal. No.: 872528 Filed: June 1, 2001 SUMMARY Computer monitor and TV monitors can be made to emit weak low-frequency electromagnetic fields merely by pulsing the intensity of displayed images. Experiments have shown that the 1/2 Hz sensory resonance can be excited in this manner in a subject near the monitor. The 2.4 Hz sensory resonance can also be excited in this fashion. Hence, a TV monitor or computer monitor can be used to manipulate the nervous system of nearby people. The implementations of the invention are adapted to the source of video stream that drives the monitor, be it a computer program, a TV broadcast, a video tape or a digital video disc (DVD). For a computer monitor, the image pulses can be produced by a suitable computer program. The pulse frequency may be controlled through keyboard input, so that the subject can tune to an individual sensory resonance frequency. The pulse amplitude can be controlled as well in this manner. A program written in Visual Basic(R) is particularly suitable for use on computers that run the Windows 95(R) or Windows 98(R) operating system. The structure of such a program is described. Production of periodic pulses requires an accurate timing procedure. Such a procedure is constructed from the GetTimeCount function available in the Application Program Interface (API) of the Windows operating system, together with an extrapolation procedure that improves the timing accuracy. Pulse variability can be introduced through software, for the purpose of thwarting habituation of the nervous system to the field stimulation, or when the precise resonance frequency is not known. The program that causes a monitor to display a pulsing image may be run on a remote computer that is connected to the user computer by a link; the latter may partly belong to a network, which may be the Internet. For a TV monitor, the image pulsing may be inherent in the video stream as it flows from the video source, or else the stream may be modulated such as to overlay the pulsing. In the first case, a live TV broadcast can be arranged to have the feature imbedded simply by slightly pulsing the illumination of the scene that is being broadcast. This method can of course also be used in making movies and recording video tapes and DVDs. Video tapes can be edited such as to overlay the pulsing by means of modulating hardware. A simple modulator is discussed wherein the luminance signal of composite video is pulsed without affecting the chroma signal. The same effect may be introduced at the consumer end, by modulating the video stream that is produced by the video source. A DVD can be edited through software, by introducing pulse-like variations in the digital RGB signals. Image intensity pulses can be overlaid onto the analog component video output of a DVD player by modulating the luminance signal component. Before entering the TV set, a television signal can be modulated such as to cause pulsing of the image intensity by means of a variable delay line that is connected to a pulse generator. Certain monitors can emit electromagnetic field pulses that excite a sensory resonance in a nearby subject, through image pulses that are so weak as to be subliminal. This is unfortunate since it opens a way for mischievous application of the invention, whereby people are exposed unknowingly to manipulation of their nervous systems for someone else's purposes. Such application would be unethical and is of course not advocated. It is mentioned here in order to alert the public to the possibility of covert abuse that may occur while being online, or while watching TV, a video, or a DVD. This paragraph on behavior modification is from page 205 of Dr. Victorian's Mind Controllers: The latest development in the technology of induced fear and mind control is the cloning of the human EEG or brain waves of any targeted victim, or indeed groups. With the use of powerful computers, segments of human emotions which include anger, anxiety, sadness, fear, embarrassment, jealousy, resentment, shame, and terror, have been identified and isolated within the EEG signals as ‘emotion signature clusters.’ Their relevant frequencies and amplitudes have been measured. At present, two major sensory resonances are known, with frequencies near 1/2 Hz and 2.4 Hz. The 1/2 Hz sensory resonance causes relaxation, sleepiness, ptosis of the eyelids, a tonic smile, a "knot" in the stomach, or sexual excitement, depending on the precise frequency used. The 2.4 Hz resonance causes the slowing of certain cortical activities. • Republikkkon Congressman Peter King (NY) holding hearings on "the radicalization of Muslims in America". Wanna 'radicalize' people (?), keep oppressing and persecuting them, asshat! And keep stirring up your fascist base by adding on to the chorus of fear-based lies coming from Fox News, Andrew Breitbart, and your fellow republikkkon politicians , who will continue to motivate your followers to shoot demokkkrats, attack Muslims with knives, and plant bombs at Martin Luther King Jr events. These hearings are not about 'fact finding', but 'fact' creation, in order to legally justify future persecutions and intrusions into the lives of anyone and everyone deemed 'radical' by the vary same advocates of "less government" (lol).  

Republikkkon governor of Arizona Jan Brewer is attempting to build herself a private army. This is the same Gov. Jan Brewer who signed the anti-Mexican/anti-Indigenous SB 2010/ "Papers Please"/neo-apartheid statute into law.

Revolutions continue in Africa and the Middle East. At this point, they face the threat of U.$. imperialism, by proxy through the various pro-kkkapitalist parties in those countries or through actual invasion (begining with a british and amerikkkkan-enforced "no fly zone" over Libya).

How many must be injured or killed while we wait for the legislature, an anti-Indigenous and pro-youth-incarceration legislature (as you yourself have pointed out in your own commentaries), to pass a law allowing Satterberg to charge Birk with 1st degree murder? If you had done your homework before opening your mouth on the air, you would know that Satterberg can in fact charge Birk with manslaughter under state law; if he wished to.

Did you know that Mothers for Police Accountability have been going to Olympia for years begging those asshats for reforms in how police stops are conducted, as well as to oppose anti-gang legislation that most directly effects black people? Did you know that Rev. Harriet Walden almost lost her business a couple of years ago due to her liberal activism (which has produced nothing effective to really stem the tide of state-sponsored terror)?

So, now your backward, hat-in-hand/hankerchief head exhortation of "take it up with the legislature" to those of us on the front lines against police terrorism (both as victims and as advocates for victims) becomes even more ridiculous, cynical, and cowardly; especially when such reactionary commentary comes from a place of relative personal comfort and privilege; at least as much relative personal comfort and privilege as your demokkkratic party handlers allow you to have within the confines of their social plantation.

Example #1: most of the gear hip-hop heads wear in amerikkka is made by children who make less than $2 per day.


Example #2: Since the outbreak of fighitng in Libya, gas prices are now $4/gallon and climbing. The U.$. has sent warships in the name of "humanitarian aid" and "democracy" , so as to get prices under control, by seizing their oil reserves. This is what was attempted in Iraq. That's why retreating Iraqi troops set fire to them. Haliburton owns them now.

This dynamic influences mass consciousness of one type amongst those who make the shoes and another type for those who wear them. There is a reason that all over Africa and The Middle East those workers are getting rid of their dictators, where as workers in the U.$. seek to negotiate with theirs. Why? To get a bigger piece of the global pie, as opposed to tossing them (like Wisconsin Gov. Walker) out of power. The Egyptians want something new that they do not have (progressive), the striking teachers want something back that they used to have (reactionary).

The few who know, understand, and act upon this are generally hated on and misunderstood, since the majority of our people seek to become "amerikkkans" at this time, rather than be free. This is a symptom of affirmative action; which was part of the Nixon administration's larger COINTELPRO program.

The lastest scandal coming from the Seattle Public School District shows and proves what I and many others have been saying for many, many years. Neo-colonialism exists in the black community in amerikkka!

Yes, really. Anyone who is in denial of this is a willing, junior partner to imperialism! Wake up, God Dammit!

Indeed, the knee-grow individuals in question have been the enemies, bloodsuckers, and dreamkillers of grassroots initiatives, such as the African American Heritage Museum and Cultural Center, for many, many years.

According to the Seattle Times, Seattle Public Schools incurred losses of $280,005 by paying for services it didn't receive and for services that benefited a private company owned by Silas Potter, who at the time was also a Seattle Public School District employee. In addition, the district paid $1.5 million for services with a "questionable" public purpose, in which documentation lacked sufficient detail to determine the validity of charges, for services that did not benefit the district directly, or could have been performed by district personnel.

  Silas Potter resigned from Seattle Public Schools last summer. The state audit says Potter's supervisor, Fred Stephens (currently employed by the U.S. Department of Commerce, under former Governor Gary Locke),  knew Potter was moving the school district small business program to his private company (of the same name as the district's program. Hmmm) and that he didn't stop Potter from taking district money.



Eddie Rye

Below are some of the local neo-colonial/uncle tom puppet 'vendors' who did little or no work at all and got paid for it. News flash: This has ALWAYS been their M.O. (!):

Eddie Rye billed Seattle Public Schools $48,000 for meetings and outreach, telling people the school district had a special program to help contractors learn how to bid for jobs. The state auditor says that should not have happened because Rye's work did not directly benefit the school district.

Tony Orange billed the district $50 or $100 an hour for outreach, recruitment, brainstorming, visioning, going to meetings and handing out flyers. In addition, last year, Orange billed the district for almost $3000 a month. Auditors said he was not qualified to run an apprenticeship program, but that's what his contract was for. Tony Orange is a friend of Silas Potter — the man who ran the contracting program. The state auditor says the $160,000 billed by Tony Orange and CAMP (Central Area Motivation Program) is "questionable".

 Charles Rolland billed the district for similar work; specifically, meeting with legislators, running an apprenticeship program. Auditors say he was unauthorized or unqualified to do the work he billed for. Rolland has been chair of the Washington State Democrats,was the first chief of staff to former Mayor Norm Rice, last year he co–chaired the search committee for a new chief of Seattle Police, who eventually selected John Diaz to be chief. Rolland took home $65,000.

James Kelley, in his capacity as the head of the Urban League of Seattle (a historically oppressive, neo-colonial institution in the black community in amerikkka for many years), and current landlord of the Nothwest African American Museum (NAAM), walked away with over half a million dollars. This the same James Kelley who pulled a gun on K.Wyking Garrett (a leader of the grassroots museum campaign and Umoja Fest Peace Center), advocated for installing security cameras on Rainier Ave, and recently resigned from the Urban League citing "health problems" and "personal commitments". I'll bet. I wonder if he saw what was coming?

It is no surprise that the district knew of this since 2009. Indeed, it is these institutions that utilize the worst of the rankest opportunists from our community, against our community. These people represent a particular class interest within the black community, which many try to be in denial of; especially since many of those in denial have the same mentalities and worldviews, and in fact aspire to be like these knee-grows; despite their current lower class status. Or, the uncle tom in question is part of the family.

 So, I don't want to hear from some isolated, desperate, narrow-minded, pork chop/micro-nationalists (who, at bottom, tail whatever reactionary settler-nation political party who will [maybe] give them money) who try to argue that these asshats should be supported because they were "sticking it to whitey". No, dummy: they are/were functionaries of the power structure. They took tax dollars paid into the district (whether we like it or not) by the both the black and settler community, they put it in their pocket, and produced nothing but embarrassment for the entire region, and specifically the black community as a whole. No, they couldn't even create a decent paper trail; and certainly not freedom for you or I. They are not interested in those things. They want to imitate other corporate settler-nation exploiters,...in small-scale.

Are black children, or anyones children, receiving a better education because of this exercise in stupidity? I doubt it. I am certain that local, regional, and national white supremacist elements are looking at this carefully and now have additional propaganda for their larger, faster-growing movement. These are the same forces who are coordinating to defund public education, fire teachers, bust unions, cram more black and immigrant children into small classrooms; often in "special education" programs, in-house suspension, or charter schools.

Tony Orange

The social layer of professional knee-grows who jockey for positions as power-brokers between the black community and the local settler-imperialist government(s) are the enemies of real freedom and democracy. They are the number one barrier to real freedom, justice, and economic equality. They must be opposed, by any means necessary, otherwise the community has no one to blame but each other for being represented to the world by the living, breathing examples of the last 100 years of racist stereotyping.  Even worse is how these flesh and bone lawn jockeys, who have historically opposed genuine efforts at black freedom in the community, have the nerve to invoke a micro-nationalism of a type towards their settler co-workers, as a method to silence potential critics amongst them.
